Ashraya Ananthanarayanan is a captivating performer who has won the hearts of audiences at her performances. She credits her success in dance to her Guru Smt. Anjali Nandan.

Ashraya is acclaimed as a rare combination of a dancer, Harvard undergrad, choreographer, music composer, singer, teacher, and author. She gets her inspiration for dance from her maternal Aunt Smt. Vani Ganapathy who is a highly reputed artist and has devoted her life for this art form.

After studying performance art and earning her degree with a distinction from the acclaimed Alagappa University from India, Ashraya Ananthanarayanan has worked tirelessly to develop a unique style and technique.

As the editor of Soham newsletter of Shruthilayam Academy, Ashraya has had the opportunity to interview fine artists/legends like the Dhananjayans and Anita Ratnam.  Ashraya also serves in the Board of Shruthilayam Academy having got her training in music from eminent artists like Shri. Maharajapuram Ramachandran and her Father/Guru Shri. Ananthanarayanan who is a disciple of Smt. Vasantha Kannan (a direct disciple of Shri. Lalgudi Jayaram).
